Great Wines by Great Women
December 2013
Join us for a special WLMA event on December 5, 2013 to discover and celebrate the history of women in winemaking. We welcome Michael Green, one of America's premier wine and spirits celebrities, to be our guide as we taste our way through select wines from women pioneers and mentors in the industry.
Michael's presentation highlights key characteristics of these pioneering winemakers that have contributed to their success and have allowed them to serve as models for women striving to accomplish their goals and break new ground in any field. In addition, Michael will discuss setting the table for success as he teaches us how to leverage food and drink to build successful relationships.
Style Bible: What To Wear To Work
December 2013
Before Lauren Rothman (fashion, style, and trend expert and founder of Styleauteur ) DC was known as the land of ill-fitting, matchy matchy pant suits paired with tennis shoes. Now, largely thanks to Lauren, we are moving into the fashion forward landscape. Besides discussing executive presence, political style, and First Family fashions on Entertainment Tonight, CNN, E! News, and other popular networks, Lauren has just released a book "STYLE BIBLE, What To Wear To Work." In the book, Lauren drives value to your wardrobe and your personal style and with that, to your career and your future. We can all pretend style does not matter – but it does – and Lauren makes it easy to achieve.
At our event, all attendees will receive a free copy of STYLE BIBLE and will hear from Lauren Rothman relating to the ways that women at all stages of their career can make the most of today's available fashions. CUSP, our generous host, is keeping the store open just for us – so bring your credit card and get ready to put all of Lauren's sage advice to good work!
