Sharon Siegel Voelzke

Sharon Siegel Voelzke is a Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Navigant Consulting’s Disputes & Investigations practice, which represents approximately one-half of the firm. The Disputes & Investigative practice provides a wide range of services to clients facing the challenges of disputes, litigation, forensic investigation, discovery and regulatory compliance in all industries including Healthcare, Financial Services, Insurance and Energy. In this position, Sharon manages financial performance, professional development of personnel, resource management, compensation strategies, communications, and overall Operations of the practice. Previously Sharon was the Business Unit Leader of Navigant Consulting’s Business Advisory segment, and she served as the Practice Leader for the Financial Services practice. Based in Princeton, New Jersey, Sharon began her career at Peterson Consulting in 1988, and over the past 22 years has played an integral role in the growth and development of the Company's business advisory solutions. Her specific expertise relates to assisting large corporations in addressing operational changes as a result of regulation, reorganization, and/or other management directives.  Sharon also serves on the firm’s Operating and Executive Committees.

 

Diane A. Bettino

Diane A. Bettino is a member of the Financial Industry Group, practicing in the area of Financial Services Litigation for ReedSmith. She concentrates her practice on complex state and federal litigation, including residential mortgage lending, auto finance, insurance products and equipment finance.  She has defended such consumer-based claims in class actions, mass actions, government investigations and single consumer claims. Her experience also includes assisting the firm’s financial services clients in achieving settlements for numerous cases involving the Option ARM product, recovering substantial sums wrongfully taken through fraudulent mortgage schemes, and obtaining favorable closure in matters involving numerous claims of alleged fraud for overcharges relating to excess wear and damage on returned lease vehicles.

 

 

Lisa M. Cirando

Lisa M. Cirando is Of Counsel in the New York office of Jones Day.  Ms. Cirando represents insurance policyholders exclusively. She crafts and implements innovative strategies that serve the diverse needs of her worldwide clients in a variety of industries including health services, financial services, real estate and construction, high-technology, manufacturing, shipping, media and entertainment, apparel, textile, retail, food and beverage, industrial, energy, and telecommunications. She has experience in the areas of insurance for claims involving corporate fraud, securities and governance matters, and criminal proceedings as well as claims involving catastrophic property damage and business interruption. She also has handled third-party insurance claims involving environmental, construction defect, intellectual property, and product liability claims. She has litigated against insolvent insurers and advised policyholders facing bankruptcy.  Ms. Cirando has published numerous articles, particularly on emerging insurance issues, and has written extensively on insurance for global warming liabilities. She is regularly invited to speak at insurance industry and bar association conferences.  She also serves on several non-profit boards and was appointed by the Brooklyn Borough President to her local community board.

 

 

Lisa A. Linsky

Lisa A. Linsky is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP and is based in the firm's New York office. She focuses her practice on complex litigation, including product liability and toxic tort, civil and criminal trials, business investigations, client counseling and civil rights litigation. Lisa is McDermott’s first Partner-in-Charge of Firm-wide Diversity, and created and chairs the Firm-wide Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Diversity Committee.  Lisa also serves on the firm’s Pro Bono and Community Service Committee.  Lisa is a Member and Officer of the Board of Directors for Lambda Legal. She comes to McDermott with extensive trial experience. She was formerly with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, where she held the positions of Associate Chief of the Special Prosecutions Division and Chief of the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Bureau of the same division. Lisa has been recognized as an expert for her work in the fields of domestic violence, child abuse and sex crimes investigations and prosecutions. She has received numerous awards for her distinguished service, is a published author and has a wide range of public speaking and teaching experience in addition to her litigation skills.  Lisa is a sought after public speaker who presents nationally on a range of topics including law firm diversity and pro bono initiatives.  In 2009, she was named a Mover & Shaker by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), for her contribution to diversity as McDermott's first Partner-in-Charge of Firm-wide Diversity and chair of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Diversity Committee.

 

 

Maureen Adolf

Maureen E. Adolf is Corporate Vice President and Deputy in charge of External Affairs for The Prudential Insurance Company of America. With a staff of regional and corporate lawyers and lobbyists, as well as retained lobbyists, Maureen is primarily responsible for managing state regulatory affairs and legislative activities and the formulation of company positions on public policy issues. She is involved in the development of strategies to win critical regulatory support for company programs, products and initiatives both in the states and in Washington, DC.  Maureen is a member of the Insurance Regulation Steering Committee, the Deputies Committee of the Executive Committee, the Regulation Modernization Committee, Chair of the IAIS Task Force, and Past Chair of the NAIC Relations Subgroup and the State Policy Oversight Committee of the American Council of Life Insurers. She is a Board member of the National Organization of Life & Health Guaranty Associations, a former member of the Board of the American Tort Reform Association, Past Chair of the Industry Education Council of the National Conference of Insurance Legislators and a member of the Elections Task Force of the U.S. Chamber’s Institute for Legal Reform. She is also the Treasurer of the Prudential New York Political Action Committee and is on the Board of The Prudential Political Action Committee.  In addition to her professional duties, Maureen is a member of the Financial Women’s Association and participates on the Government Relations Committee.  She is also a founding member of the New York-based Government Affairs Professionals (GAP) and is a member of Leadership America (Class of 1995).
